Our "FUN" Club had several announcements Tuesday evening. Our next fund raising meeting will be Tuesday October 6th at 5:00 p.m. before our regular meeting. Our regular board meeting will be held Oct. 13th with District Governor Gail before our regular meeting.

Our Fun Chair, Lynn Johnson, handed out the tailgate/game tickets for the UNR game on Saturday Oct. 3rd.  Lynn has a few game tickets left so check with her if you have decided to attend. The tailgate food will be provided by Famous Daves.  Lynn also announced our Christmas Party, Pirate gift exchange will be December 15th at Miguel's in the Summit Sierra shopping center.

Roteract Secretary, Nancy Allen, brought hand outs with information on their upcoming fund raiser on Oct.18th. The event is Vino 4 Reno, the ticket price is $25.00. You can get the details by looking up the event name on the web.

Our speaker for the evening was Season Lopiccolo. Season is the COO/Partner and President of Noble Studios. We learned about the direction the web industry is heading, our phone devices being our largest connection for new products and a lot about marketing. Season and her husband Jerrad have taken their company from a single laptop into one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S., according to Inc. Magazine.

Season also brought along her Senior Client Engagement Manager, Kimberly Kuntz, who  had back up comments on the power point presentation.

Well it was time to dig for the Red. I see us all go for the bottom of the bag. I am starting to wonder if that peskie red marble hangs around the top. It is always good to get a free dinner as Mark Schauss seemed pleased.

So our new fun game from President Duane is joke telling.  If you tell a joke and the members laugh and like it you get four tickets for the raffle drawing. Here is the down
side. If no one laughs or you get a boo it will cost you $5.00.  This will be fun to see who thinks what is funny.

See you all Tuesday. Our speaker is Nancy Brune, Executive Director, Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities.  If you are curious what this is all about attend and see.
I like President Duane's closing comment, "It's time to shut off my light."
