You can tell what President Duane is thinking.  O.K. who is going to draw the red marble tonight.  We had a lot of good intentions with only three balls left. Tickets sales were heavy, thank you members, and the wait for the draw was anticipated.

So here we go Leslie Adams. OMG! the elusive red marble is still in the bag.  Due to our upcoming Fireside Chat and being dark the following week to attend our RI Presidents dinner, our next drawing will be August 18th. Is anyone's palm itching?

Our program was hearing from our attending members. President Duane Upton asked each member where they were born, what was their first car and then gave us time for a one or two minute talk on what we are doing today.  It was very interesting to hear the different areas of professions and life for some in retirement. You might think I was taking a picture of Ralph Koss but I actually had my eye on the cup cakes to his right.  Just kidding of course.

As usual our Music Madness gave us great laughs. We had eight winners and Cindy Welch won the four bagger for extra tickets.Lynn Johnson made a suggestion a member give Duane five songs each week for the members to guess that way we may get a different variety and era of choices. President Duane welcomed the suggestion. Mark Schauss rang the bell for daughter Anika receiving her first kiss.  The story was so cute. Past President Chip Lindloff gave us a Foundation Moment. Our Club ranks third in Foundation giving per capita. There will be more information about our Foundation next week.

Our RYE chair Chesa Keane is having a devil of a time securing host families for a few schools.  Please contact Chesa if you have any ideas.

See you all at Jim's next week.
